The short service was nice, conducted graveside by our minister. Merl had a rather sad life, seeing not only his parents and first wife pass away, but also both of his children. It is good to know that they are all reunited now in Heaven.

This morning we said goodbye to my maternal grandmother's second husband, who(m?) she married in 1988. My grandfather passed away in 1979. You can read his complete obituary here if you wish. This is a picture of my grandma and Merl taken on 12/25/08.
